Dry Suit Diver

Tired of getting chilly on dives, or headed off to cooler temperatures? Unlike wetsuits, drysuits are filled with air. This air keeps you dry, and allows you to wear layers under your suit to keep you warm. During your drysuit course, we will teach you how to control the air in your drysuit along with your buoyancy.

You'll also learn about different types of drysuits, basic drysuit repairs and maintenance.

If you do not own a drysuit, no worries! We will arrange a rental drysuit (and undergarments) for you through our partners at Extreme Exposure dive shop or Stay-Dri Scuba. Students owning their own drysuit are welcome to use it in the course. After the course, you will be able to rent drysuits at any dive shop or operation that offers them.

Course consists of eLearning, followed by a day of hands-on training dives at one of our local springs (e.g., Manatee and Catfish Hotel). At 72 degrees, the water is chilly enough to notice the difference diving dry!
